Our Goal: To support educators in creating schools and classrooms where compassion, respect and cooperation naturally thrive and where the joy of learning is palpable. We envision our young people with skills to create life-serving systems within themselves, with others and in their future social and political organizations, thus empowered to create a peaceful and sustainable world.

The Educators Institute is designed to:

  • Co-create a life-enriching classroom
  • Strengthen Nonviolent Communication skills
  • Model and practice processes for learning sucess
  • Teach activities for sharing NVC with students
  • Create a fun and safe nurturing environment
  • Create a network for ongoing support

Prerequisite: Basic familiarity with Nonviolent Communication
Tuition, Room & Board: $995-1250 sliding scale
CEUs: 3 CEU credits or 30 contact hours

Friendly Crossways Retreat Center is one hour from Boston and Hartford and an hour and a quarter from Providence.  It is in a rural setting surrounded by conservation land, and offers organic gardens, and comfortable rooms and meeting spaces.  See the virtual tour at friendlycrossways.com.  We will help organize car pools.
